A portrait drawn from your birth chart
The classical texts describe a face, a build, a complexion and a bearing for each sign and planet. Astrivo reads those descriptions for the 7th house of your chart (the spouse) or the 5th (children), and has them painted as one picture — with every element listed beside it, and the verse it came from.
It is an artistic impression composed from classical texts — not a photograph, and not a picture of a person you will meet.
Two portraits
Spouse Portrait — ₹149
Drawn from your 7th house
- Face and build from the sign of your 7th house, as Brihat Jataka Ch.17 describes it.
- Complexion from your Darakaraka's navamsa, by Jaimini Sutras A1P4 Su.42.
- Setting, posture and dress from the drekkana of that sign — Brihat Jataka Ch.27.
- Hair and expression, where the sign's own verse is silent, from the planet governing the house — Phaladeepika Ch.2 (Graha Swaroopa).
- Whether the portrait shows a man or a woman comes from your answer, not from the chart.
Future Child — ₹149
Drawn from your 5th house
- Features from the sign of your 5th house, colouring and form from the planet governing it.
- The picture shows two children, a boy and a girl. Your chart gives neither the number nor the sexes — both are drawn precisely because the chart chooses neither.
- What comes from your chart is the description the two share.
- The age shown is fixed, and is our choice — no text sets it.
- You are asked to read and accept this before you pay, not after.
One-time payment, saved to your account, yours to download. A different rendering of the same reading costs ₹49.
How it works
- Enter your birth details — Date, time and place. The chart is computed from them, free. The birth time matters here: it fixes the Ascendant, and the houses are counted from it.
- Open Portraits and choose one — Sign in so the portrait can be saved to your account, then pick the spouse or the child portrait.
- Watch the reading uncover — While the image is painted, the reading appears line by line — the setting, the build, the face, and last the complexion.
- Keep it — The portrait is yours to download, with its list of sources underneath. You can ask for a different rendering of the same reading at any time.
Where each element comes from
Nothing in the picture is improvised. Each element is taken from a named verse, and the finished portrait carries a panel listing them: what the image used, the verse's own wording where we had to reword it for a painter, and whether the line is stated in the verse, read that way by its commentators, or an extension of ours.
- Brihat Jataka (Varahamihira) Ch.17 — the appearance each sign gives
- Brihat Jataka Ch.27 — the thirty-six drekkana figures, for setting and dress
- Jaimini Sutras A1P4 Su.42 — complexion, from the Darakaraka's navamsa
- Phaladeepika (Mantreswara) Ch.2 Sl.8-14 — the form of each planet
- Phaladeepika Ch.15 Sl.21 — the wife read from Venus
- Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra Ch.80 Sl.22-25 — the spouse read from the 7th house or its navamsa
The ingredients are classical; the recipe is ours. Combining them into a single picture is our work, and so are the lighting, the painting style, the age a child is shown at, and the country the people are drawn as being from (your own birth country). The source panel marks each of those as our choice rather than a verse.
Questions people ask before starting
What is a spouse portrait from a birth chart?
Classical Vedic texts describe the body and bearing associated with each sign and planet. The spouse portrait reads those descriptions for the 7th house of your chart — the house of marriage — and has an AI image model paint them as one picture, with the verse behind each element listed underneath.
Will my spouse actually look like this?
We do not claim that, and you should not buy it expecting it. When we tested the classical rule this portrait rests on against real married couples with reliable birth times, it did no better than chance at matching who people married. What you get is an honest picture of what the texts say about your 7th house — an artistic impression, not a forecast.
Does the child portrait predict a boy or a girl, or how many children I will have?
No. The picture always shows two children, a boy and a girl, and that is our composition: the chart is not read for a child's sex or for a number, and both are drawn precisely so that neither is chosen. What comes from your chart is the description the two children share.
How is the picture made?
Your chart is computed from your birth details. The engine then collects the appearance each relevant verse gives and writes a short description, and an AI image model paints from that description. No photograph of you or anyone else is used, and the description carries no name or contact details.
What birth details do I need?
Date, time and place of birth. The time matters because it sets the Ascendant, from which the 7th and 5th houses are counted. If you do not know your birth time, the houses are counted from the Moon instead, and the portrait says so.
Can I get a different version?
Yes. You can ask for a different rendering of the same reading for a smaller fee. There is one portrait per subject, so a new rendering replaces the earlier one. If an image fails to generate for a technical reason, the retry is free.
Who can see my portrait?
It is saved to your own account and shown only to you. The image provider receives the short trait description, without your name or contact details. Our privacy policy sets out what is stored and how to have it deleted.
