Whether Anything Cancels It
Jupiter joining Mars, or reaching him by the fifth, seventh or ninth aspect, removes the dosha. In your chart Jupiter sits exalted in Karka, in the sixth house — strong in himself, but he neither joins Mars in Virgo nor aspects him. Distance alone prevents it. This one does not apply.
How It Shows in Your Life

The houses and the three reference points come from Jataka Parijata Ch.14, Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra Ch.80, and B.V. Raman's Muhurtha. The severity follows Raman's own dignity table in How to Judge a Horoscope Vol. II; the weighting across the three reference points and the band thresholds are ours, and the report says so rather than letting him carry them. The propitiations come from the Yajnavalkya Smriti and from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra's dasha chapters. Chart positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris on the Lahiri ayanamsa.
Frequently asked questions
Two websites told me different things. Which is right?
Most free tools check Mars from your Lagna only. This report checks three reference points — the Lagna, the Moon and Venus — which is the older and stricter reading, and it is the commonest reason two sites disagree. The second commonest is a cancellation rule that circulates widely online and that we could not find in any of the nine classical texts we read for this. The report shows which reference points trigger, which conditions clear them, and what each one rests on, so you can usually see exactly where the other answer came from.
What if it turns out I am not Manglik?
You get the same report in full, and the check that shows it — every reference point, every cancellation condition, and the reasoning behind each. Most charts are not Manglik. If a match is being held up over this, that document is the reason to buy it.
Does it look at my partner's chart?
No. This reads your chart alone. Comparing two charts — including how two Manglik statuses sit together — is the Kundali Milan report.
Do I need my exact birth time?
More than for most readings. One of the three reference points is your Lagna, which changes roughly every two hours, so a wrong birth time can change the verdict itself. If you are unsure of your time, say so — the reading should then be treated as provisional.
Can a remedy remove it?
The report does not claim that. It names what the tradition prescribes — the Mangala śānti set out in the Yajnavalkya Smriti, the household Tuesday observance, and where Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra gives a propitiation for a period ahead — and says which of those is classical and which is present practice. What it will not do is tell you that performing one alters your chart.
